Brand new schools.

At Providence we believe future generations should have the best possible start in life. Our town will be home to four schools, a Primary School and a High School in Providence Central (opened in 2020) and two more High Schools, one to the east of the town centre and one to the west.

$120 million Education Precinct.

Our brand new $120 million, state-of-the-art, education precinct opened in January 2020 and features two foundation schools, Ripley Valley State Primary School and Ripley Valley Secondary College.  All Providence residents are automatically in the catchment for both.

Meet the Principals.

Primary school Principal Ms Naomi Meerwald is highly experienced and has developed her leadership skills as a principal over the past nine years in various schools across the Metropolitan region.

Secondary school Principal Mr Brendan Krueger was most recently the principal of Longreach State High School and before that was deputy principal at Hervey Bay State High School and Bundaberg State High School.
