New bus service links Providence and Springfield Central
Translink has announced a new bus service will commence in the Ripley Valley from 2019, making it easier for Providence residents to get to and from train stations and shopping centres.
Route 531 will connect with trains at Springfield Central station and buses at Yamanto Village, making travel to Brisbane city and Ipswich easy.
There will be 28 services a day (14 each direction) and will operate Monday to Friday, between approximately 5.30am and 10pm.
The service will stop at the following locations:
- Springfield Central station and Orion Shopping Centre
- Providence Harmony Crescent
- Providence Splash 'n' Play
- Ripley Town Centre
- Ecco Ripley
- Yamanto Village.
