Things have never been better for first home buyers with low interest rates, a range of government support schemes and hot competition between builders.
However, with so much to consider, the level of information can be overwhelming.
To help first home buyers get a better understanding of how they can get on to the property ladder, Providence South Ripley has teamed up with some of Queensland’s best builders to host a series of First Home Buyer Information Nights.
The first event of the series will be held on Wednesday, March 11 at 6.00pm with Coral Homes. A second event will be held with Stylemaster Homes at 6.00pm on April 18 with a final event to be held with Bold Living at 6.00pm on April 2.

Each event is limited to just 15 spots and spots are filling fast. The 1.5 hour event will include presentations from a range of experts with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. The topics to be covered include:
- Things You Need To Know Before Buying Your First Block of Land
Hosted by Okeland Communities residential land sales expert Jamie Martin, the presentation will cover a range of issues that will help get you into your new home sooner. Jamie will explain how to get your finances in order, how to select the right block for you and eligibility criteria for government grants.
- Tips For Selecting Your New Home
These sessions will be hosted by qualified and knowledgeable representatives of each of our trusted builder partners. As some of the most popular builders in the Providence Display Village, we know they will be able to answer any questions you have about selecting your new home.
- All About The Money
Hear from a registered financial advisor or broker from Aussie Home Loans about the range of financing options available to first home buyers. Regardless of whether you have saved a large deposit or a small one, the team at Aussie will be able to help.
To help get you started Okeland has produced a handy How to Buy Guide for first home buyers in Ripley.
The guide includes tips on a range of issues for first home buyers including finance and the Australian Government’s First Home Loan Deposit Scheme (FHLDS).
Providence is the largest masterplanned township in the Ripley Valley, west of Brisbane. Spanning more than 700 hectares, around three times the size of Brisbane’s CBD, Providence is being developed by Okeland Communities.
